“We brought a team of aussies to Martin Daly’s amazing resort in the Marshall Islands. All of us were frothing wannabe Kiter’s , surfers and Foiler’s. Reo Stevens and his team including 4 x world champion Keahi De Aboitiz were outstanding coaches. Every one of us progressed more than we could have hoped. The lectures were spot on, the tuition was personal and friendly and the place was insane. We kited everyday doing downwinders and hitting the waves. I never expected to get the best surf barrel of my life ( thanks for the tow in Keahi) or to ever score a kite barrel ( great tips Reo) There is no better team to improve your fun out in the water.
We ate like kings , drank like fish, then passed out in our beautiful big rooms. The island staff were the most attentive and skilled I have ever seen on a surf trip.
It was so good we are doing it again next year. Can’t wait!”

“We’ve been with Reo to both the Tuamotu’s and Marshall Islands, and they’re definitely the most beautiful, unspoiled and pristine islands we’ve ever been too, and we live in South East Asia so we are spoiled for choice. Add to the mix a number of perfect surf and kite waves with no one else, transparent and deep blue water, Reo’s amazing coaching skills, his passion for and experience of the ocean, his positive energy and friendliness, long and fun discussions with Ron Zacapa (our drink of choice), and you get the most amazing holidays ever. So, if you’re looking for a truly exclusive surf or kite experience in the most beautiful and unspoiled islands in the world, Reo is the person you’re looking for.“

“My wife, Donna, and I were looking into a location for a kiteboarding holiday around the New Year but we found it tough to get excited about many of the well-known kiting destinations because of crowds, touristy-ness, or lack of nice accommodations. We had resigned to potentially going to Grand Cayman when I saw Reo’s Instagram post for a trip to the Marshall Islands. Me being an avid surfer, I knew of Martin Daly and his legendary explorations, and I was stoked to learn from Reo that the Marshalls is WINDY and the that Martin had built a luxurious, off-the-grid, eco-style lodge that the wife would be happy to stay at. We pulled the trigger and came back completely stoked! Life at Beran Island was almost family-like. Chef Mango would create delicious meals and the 10 or so guests would eat dinners together with staff at a large table. The lodge is luxurious and perfect for a couple or group of friends. You can relax as much you want… but that’s not the point, because everyday you get after the adventure of your choice: kiting, surfing, fishing, scuba diving, SUPing, snorkeling, and… you get the idea. Beran Island is exclusively leased to Martin and in the middle of nowhere so you’re all but guaranteed that you’ll be the only people in this pristine location. If the wind was up, we were kiting. My wife and I are intermediate kiters and Reo was a great coach, ensuring that Donna and myself were getting after it as much as possible. He’s there to make you stoked and improve your skills: for Donna that meant learning to consistently ride upwind and for me that meant learning the basics of kiting on a normal surfboard w/o straps! Dec/Jan/Feb is prime swell season for this area of the Pacific and I was pleasantly surprised how good the surfing was. More than once I was surfing a firing reef pass while Donna was with Reo half a mile away kiting in the lagoon. The drone footage I came home with made my friends drool (thanks Reo!) For those who are kitesurfers this trip could be the best of both worlds! We also scuba dove (Martin began his professional career as a salvage diver and he has all the gear), snorkeled, and had “learn to surf” sessions in the playful waves at Beran. I’ll definitely be doing this trip again, but as Donna and I are having twins this fall I’ll have to sit a season or two. I just hope that I can get a spot on this trip when we’re ready to come back!”

“If you are lucky enough to get aboard a boat in French Polynesia, it’s a rare opportunity to experience the raw tranquility of the Pacific islands. The real advantage of this trip are the combined skills of watermen like Reo who have spent years chasing pristine conditions in the most remote atolls in the world. Reo and the rest of the crew will drop you right into the best spots to fully enjoy the experience. The photos and memories will stay with you long after you step off the boat.”
